Photographer's Note
And, that's the end of the story about the Cinderella I found down there… In the dark and smelly guts of Mercado Ambullante, in the old city of Tumbes, capital of Tumbes region, and the main centre of Tumbes district within the borders of (guess what ?) Tumbes province!
And, that soup !
The best sopa de cangrejero on this side of Pacific.
The aroma, the texture… Those mussels in it…
Pescados…! Camarones !
Cinderella... Sweet Cinderella
Some may come to see the Machu-Picchu' mysterious splendor of the wonderful land of Peru…
Me...?
I’ve tasted your culinaria Rosita...ehrr...Cinderella, and that’s why I’ll be back some day…
Did I mention her Mazamorra Morada…?
Oh, Santa Madonna !!!
Cinderella… Cinderella…

Piekna seria o Kopciuszkach.

A gary i uśmiechy dalej mnie wzruszają :))
Pozdrawiam i pięknych snów, gdy przyjdzie czas T.

George: it's not just the subjects, your interaction and their complicity that makes these shots unique - but the film grain is unmistakably yours. Classic portraiture of the highest calibre. Could you give some info on scanning and PP? regards, c

Flirciary! Cudnie jest,to nie kolejne zdjêcie ustrzelone podstêpnie, ukradkiem - to relacje, emocje oko w oko.

Hi, George -
Nice character study, and you've achieved an almost monochromatic effect here, which makes the skin and the bits of red stand out.
Best,
Dan

This face, dear Polonaise, the more I look at her, the more I'm smiling, her expression is so warm and full of presence, it's just magic ! The proud air of a matron who is probably the boss, happy that her cooking pleased you... The best of the series IMO but all the photos are well worth looking at !
You are a great story teller too,
Congratulations,
Cath.

Silver, black and a few touches of red, only by looking at Rosita, the matron, the chef, I know that sopa de cangrejero must be a god's meal. And yes, you are a story teller, when are you going to publish a book, seems to be it's long overdue !
Love and mussels then.

Tremendous group shot, triumphant.
I'm not 100% crazy about the desaturated pose you assume here (you have your reasons) but it is a powerful, happy, image nonetheless, and fine photography, so... who's complaining???
