Photographer's Note
That's my first post from a ritual, sacred place.
Situated quite near Lima, is a very ancient archeological site, called Pachakamak,
has the renown of being an oracle site,
where thousands went there in pilgrimage,
in times before the Incas.
When you are outside Lima, near the coast,
the only you see is desert, from Lima to Chile, there are many desertic areas, Pachakamak is just some 20 Km away from Lima, and very desertic,
but calm and beautiful.

It'an original idea and a good shhoting point of view. I think IMO that there is a problem with the colors. They don't look natural. Running autocontrast in PS helps quite well, but the magenta should be adjusted on top. Now, I don't know, it's perhaps like that...

I also have doubts about the colours but really like the image anyway. Basically a simply pattern shot it has been well seen. The horizon is slightly tilted and slightly spoils the overall effect for me.

Simplicity is good, and you take advantage of it here. Somehow, with these few lines and objects, I feel you have captured some kind of essence of a sacred space--I got all of this before I read your comments.

This is a beautiful shot, just looking at it, I feel at peace with myself. The colors are "quiet". I really like this picture.

The color of the soil is really magnificent and reinforces the sense of magnetic nearness to gods. I agree completely with George that the road leads eyes so gently to the deep blue water. Very well captured scene!

I like the simplicity of the shot. The surreal colors adds to the shot. I like the way the picture leads you into the distance.
