Photographer's Note

From Bolivia I am returning for a moment taken in Inca-famed Peru. While exploring the ruins of Pisac, which are perched on a high, terrace-faced hill towering The Sacred Valley, I found this dry and dead tree, partially growing into the relics of a battlement wall. I was fascinated by the curving structure of its development and it's penetration straight into the Inca wall - As I was shooting, I knew this will be better demonstrated under B&W tonality. What do you say?
Just for comparison, I uploaded also a WS of the original, as scanned from the negative.
