This was the closest I have ever been to a rainbow,

This posting is to express you my sincerest best wishes for the new year!

Another year has passed within TE, I hope the next one to be a great one, full of good opportunities!

Let us get even closer to our own rainbows in 2006!

excelente la foto, lastima que el salto monday esta totalmente destruido ya que el nivel de deforestacion es alarmante y hay viviendas precarias de campesinos en el predio,creo que esa fue la razon por la cual no sacaste una foto de la parte inferior del salto.

Hello cesar. Feliz Año Nuevo! Very nice effect on the water with the slow shutter speed. The contrast of textures and the sense of movement (water) against stilness (shore) comes out great. Of course the rainbow seems like a cherry on top of the cake. All the best for the New Year.

Well composed and dynamic contrast. Good timing to capture. Just well done!
However, maybe the white frame is a bit frigid here. You may consider to adjust it to some special effection. Just my opinion.

Nice shot! I like its simplicity and the captured waterflow doesn't appear to be too milky - which is a bonus.
Nice lighting you had here and the appearance of a tiny rainbow adds that something special, lifting the image up.

Hola Kike, and a very happy new year to you and yours. -- The fact that the falls look like this at 1/5 sec is quite telling about the speed that the cascades must have when experienced up-close. Beautiful photo with a nice subtle lighting and the added benefit of the beautiful rainbow emerging from the drizzle. Well done.

Dear Kike, Happy New Year to you and you family, I hope you all are very well! I hope you will see many more rainbows in 2006, Kike.
2005 has been wonderful in the sense of meeting you and Isabel, of which his pictures also reminds me, as a big part of the trip was of course the Iguazu falls. I have seen quite a few beautiful rainbows there.
This is a lovely capture, and although I’m not very fond of slow shutter speeds for water, I like it here, as we can still see that the water is really rushing down.

this is beautifully done Cesar. I always like the milky look of water with the slow shutter speeds and it works very well here, even hairy looking.

Very nice composition here Cesar with the proper exposure time. I know this waterfall, i think it is a few kilometers west of Presidente Franco and south-west from Ciudad del Este.

An amazing shot. The smoothness of the water is what makes this so special, and the rainbow is a huge bonus. The rich green moss covered rocks beneath the rainbow give balance and further enhance. A superb capture. All the very best to you in the New Year, Cesar.
