Photographer's Note
it looks like Mount Fuji but it is not. We had bad luck with the weather. In the Hakone area where we hoped to see famous Japanese symbol, it was rainy and cloudy. So instead my archiv photo.
Osorno Volcano is a 2,652-metre ,tall conical stratovolcano lying between Osorno Province and Llanquihue Province, in Los Lagos Region of Chile. It stands on the southeastern shore of Llanquihue Lake, and also towers over Todos los Santos Lake. Osorno is known worldwide as a symbol of the local landscape, and is noted for its similar appearance to Mount Fuji.
Osorno is one of the most active volcanoes of the southern Chilean Andes, with 11 historical eruptions recorded between 1575 and 1869. The basalt and andesite lava flows generated during these eruptions reached both Llanquihue and Todos los Santos Lakes. The upper slopes of the volcano are almost entirely covered in glaciers despite its very modest altitude and latitude, sustained by the substantial snowfall in the very moist maritime climate of the region.
Photo made four years ago, two cameras back :)

Hi Malgorzata, A great shot of this most famous volcano, it looks spectacular with it's white cone top, the light through-out is excellent & I really like the view over those rocks, kind regards Wilson.

Hello Malgorzata .
Ah Ah ! I thought that it was truly the Fuji Yama . I remember looking at pictures of the volcano of friends coming back from Japan : it was allways in the clouds .
This american one is beautiful , so perfect with its snowy summit aagainst the blue sky .

Ciao Malgorzata,

All viulcanoes has a cone shape when still active, Malgo.
Chile has many vulcanoes, and here excelent view upon - great contrast of white snow on black ash-rocks soil.
Fertile land in FG - that remind me the Etna, only Vulcanoe I ever been

Hi my dear Malgo
Another wonderful shot.
Yes at a glane quite similar but the top of Mt.Fuji is a little flater, but almost same. Best framework, so fresh bright vivid color, clearly sharp focusing in the detail and very well considered composition as usual. Thanks for your sharing with finest work, have a good day and best regards,

Bonjour Malgorzata,
une belle réalisation 100% naturelle avec toutefois deux petits défauts à mes yeux, la neige un peu surexposiée et la netteté un peu trop poussée, sinon, j'aime les couleurs naturelles et le POV ainsi que le cadrage décentré.
Amicalement.

Hi Maggie,
A very nice shot from you archive. That is the wonderful things about photography, sometimes I feel like looking at different photo from my trip to relive the moments. I can end up spending so much times looking at old photos.
Grea POV and fantastic composition, it seem the quality is not as good as your recent one, but you know how to compose it and well chosen POV.

Malgorzata,
This is a great shot of this snow covered volcano. The lava rock in the foreground adds depth and interest for the shot. You have divided the scene into 3 distinctive zones which layer the shot. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has good sharpness.

Czesc Malgorzata,
Pozdrowienia

Ciao cara Malgo
I'm sorry to hear your Fuji adventures were not as you planned. But this beautiful photo of Chile's famous volcano more than makes up for it. Beautiful depth and colour. Is that old lava flow in the foreground? Fascinating, a beautifully composed photo.

Hello Malgorzata,
A stunning view indeed, with the perfect cone shape covered with snow!
The composition is skillfully done, a bit offset subject and fine sense of depth...
A bit surprising to see the altitude is as low as it is..!

Hi Malgorzata,
What a magnificent picture of this Mount Fuji-like volcano. I've been twice to Chile but didn't make it to this region. Having been caught in the 2010 earthquake, I don't think I could build up enough courage to return in this part of this wonderful country.
I like the foreground, especially with a partial view of the lake. TFS.

Hi Malgorzata !!
I have been there & seen the volcano from the distance...... it has the " perfect " shape.
I like your composition which show volcanic lava in the foreground and then the foliage and the volcano in the background.
Have a nice week end.
