caramba, o efeito ficou ótimo! As colorações deram um ar bem místico e intrigante à composição. Uma obra, Zeca! E concordo plenamente com você sobre o post-processing e vou mais fundo. Quem diz que não faz pós-produção nas fotos está se contradizendo. Para mim, só um fato das fotocélulas das câmeras estarem convertando luz em impulsos elétricos, conforme uma programação pré-definida pelo fabricante, já define pós-produção. Ora, por que então devemos simplesmente aceitar a forma como essas células "decidiram" registrar uma cena? A pós-produção sempre fez parte da fotografia, desde os seus primórdios, quando se conseguiu transferir num papel através de reações químicas, algo próximo do que se tinha visto em certo momento. Todas minhas fotos sofrem algum tipo de alteração no momento de "revelá-las", nem que seja um simples ajuste de saturação ou o tão famoso sharpness, tão essencial às postagens aqui no TE. E atire a primeira pedra que nunca o fez...
Parabéns pela sua trecentésima postagem. Espero poder chegar a essa marca e ter aprendido um pouco mais, assim como a evolução de sua técnica tem sido mostrada aqui através de suas fotos.

Congratulations on 300! This is a beautiful shot, with the soft light through the mist giving an incredible contrast with the sharp figures in the boat. Incredible colour too, really golden in tone and very unsual. Excellent work, and I hope we get to see another 300 from you (at least!).

Jose for the short length of time that I have begun to see some of your photos, I have to say a real thank you for all your creative captures in light. The reason for saying that is because that is the essence of excellent photography in my mind. Creative captures have to be seen first in the mind of the photographer long before the shutter is clicked. Captures in Light is also one of the most vital aspects of photography as well. This photos oozes with morning light all over and the fog is glorious. These kind of photos are my very favorite to say the least. You can see plenty of them deep in my gallery. Light adored becomes Light enjoyed by others that we found in glorious moments of mornings like this!

Parabéns pelo seu excelente trabalho e pela estatura alcançada com os 10.000 pontos e 300 fotos publicadas. Mais importante, noto, é ver como engrandece o espírito dessa comunidade de fotógrafos, amadores ou profissionais, ao tão atenciosa e prontamente responder às críticas e às dúvidas, bem como avaliar e sugerir possíveis melhorias ao trabalho de outros fotógrafos, sempre com humildade e abertura para o aprendizado constante. Particularmente, agradeço seus comentários e incentivos.
Quanto a esta foto, nem preciso dizer quão fantástica está. A silhueta primorosa dos três pescadores contra um fundo em névoa sutil, completada com espetaculares reflexos em ziguezague que esbatem regiões de dourados e prateados quase oníricos... Boa escolha.
Ainda com relação aos limites da técnica fotográfica e do tratamento de imagens, sempre pensei como você e Carlos CB (belido): nossos olhos e cérebros não captam e percebem as informações visuais da mesma forma, nem o fazem as emulsões de haletos de prata, nem as superfícies fotossensíveis digitais. Toda captura é única e depende de uma infinidade de fatores, não sendo sensato um purismo que considere cromos essencialmente melhores do que sensores CMOS, ou imagens diretamente capturada com uma câmera digital superiores àquelas que foram aprimoradas para corrigir deficiências da configuração de fábrica ou das circunstâncias de captura com relação à saturação, balanço de brancos, curva de luminosidade, nitidez, etc. Defender sectariamente uma forma de captura sem levar em consideração o efeito final é bem artificial, porque não há sentido, diante de tanta variabilidade, em falar de parâmetro (fixo) no registro fotográfico ou em sua interpretação. Mas bom senso é questão subjetiva que merece ser arbitrada pelo diálogo aberto, algo que esta comunidade permite.

I am late on this one, but would like to place a comment because the photo is to good for just let it pass away.
The light and the fog create a mood which i have seldom seen. The boat with the people in is of course essentiel and the overal photo breathes a very peaceful and serene mood...wonderful.

hi Jose,oooooo,this is really amazing!interesting note,think 'the key' is our eyes,the moment and finally some work;)but,i'm sure you know that already;)your 'eyes alert' make here a dreaming photo,something that enjoy our eyes,mean professional..even now i wondered myself 'how i could recognize a professional photo?'hm,probably,like said always,the art means passion and comes from inside..and work;)and my retina is fascinated by these tones of colors..and by the sense of loneliness so well taken here!

Hello Zeca,
today, I took a look at your photos form Brasil. While they're all of very good quality, I think this one is the one which has the most soul, the most personality. It calls the feelings out.
I like the color palette, it's very different form what we're used to on TE. no blue, no red, no green...only black, white and gold.
We can see you put a lot of thoughts in this one, the efforts are palpable.

Hello Jose,
this is a perfect photo, one of the few which are worth every single point they have gathered. And I enjoyed your note as much as the picture, because you speak out of my heart about pp, I myself would not be able to express it as well. Photoshop is the best invention of the last hundred years, (in my eyes), and my pics are much better than they were before digital times.
