Photographer's Note

This is a picture of the giant Victoria water lilies located in Lake Januari. These lilies shown on this picture are approximately 6 feet to 7 feet in diameter. These lilies could grow up to 9 feet in diameter. Do you know:

A.The Victoria produces the largest single leaf plant in the world.
B. Each leaf can grow up to 10 inches in a single day.
C. Natve South Americans uses Victoria seeds as flour for cakes.
D. The Victoria is Hermaphroditic: When it blooms it changes from female to male overnight.
E. The structure of its leaves inspired the design of the structure in England, Crystal Palace in 1851.
