Photographer's Note

Once we were half way to the little village of "Bichinhos" (at restaurant we had lunch, check my last posting). We decide to continue our trip until there and check out all the artcraft workshops in the village. Bichinhos is just one street filed with workshops and small shops. A great part of the artcraft sold in Tiradentes comes from there. On this shot we can see what is called "Namoradeiras" placed on the windows. They are usually made of ceramic and hand painted. I beleive they are inspired by the single women from little vilages that in the past stayed long hours on the window wainting for their "enchanted prince" and gossiping about other people's lives.

Sorry about the quality of this shot. Despite all the advise from Kath I couldn't solve the compression problem of my pictures. I need a better PS! I decided to post it as it's an important part of the travelogue and a place not known by most of the people. The objective here is to show some of the artcrafts produced there.
