Arraial do Cabo is known to be one ofthe best places in Brazil for the practice of scuba diving and underwater fishing. Located in north of Rio de Janeiro state about 140Km from the Rio de Janeiro city.

Arraial do Cabo city was founded at 1985 and has a population of 26,390. The region was discovred by the portuguese Americo Vespulcio during the second expedition of Portugal to the brazilian coast during the colony age.

The Blue Grotto is a magical place and located on the extreme side of the island. The access is only by boat that you can reant at Praia dos Anjos (Angels Beach).

The grotto internal walls are of golden and silver tones and become blue as the degree of solar intensity. Only at low tide you can get a boat inside the cave (baddly our boat was to big and can't enter inside).
With an opening of approximately 3 meters wide, it is a natural hall of 30 meters in length and 15 meters high at low tide.
