Or blooming autumn…

Visiting the village of Embu das Artes last Sunday afternoon was quite a change in terms of weather when compared with the colder autumn in Buenos Aires; I got there about two hours before sunset, with a nice temperature in the mid 20°s, and great light… even flowers were blooming.

As I mentioned in a previous post; this town is on the outskirts of Sao Paulo. The weekend fairs attract lots of people, specially on beautiful days like last Sunday; it has also become one of my usual outings when I am in Brazil.

The artists and artisans offer their work on stands and shop on the old district of the city, and there also are some art galleries and antiques shops.

I took some photos (it was really crowded, the streets are somehow narrow and with the stands there is not much place) and for this post I selected a more general view of one the streets.

As ‘bonus’ photos, in the WS you will find one with a view of some shops… and, my favorite… a close-up of a blooming flower… (Of course… knowing the rules, I would not dare posting it as primary image ;)!…)

Raw Capture at ISO 200 – f8.0 – 1/125s @ 35 mm.+ CP filter
Post processing: RAW conversion to TIF (DPP), and then (PS CS), shadows / light adjustment, contrast (curves), USM and save for the web

Ps These days I am not finding a lot of time for posting (finally moving from Argentina to Brazil), but will try to visit as many galleries as I can.

Ps2: Thanks a lot Enrique (Andante) for your tip on luminosity channel and shadows/highlights!
