Photographer's Note
This photo was taken on the road that links Rio to Petropolis. Petropolis is 68km from Rio and used to be the summer residence of the royal family in the 19th century due to its pleasant climate. The road is scenic, it takes you from sea level to 800m high in aprox. 20km going through the lush vegetation of the atlantic forest.
