Photographer's Note

Hello Lucas, the yellow painted walls of the church stand out against the dark sky, a storm on its way?
The bunting, that is the small pennants, are colourful and are linked to the church adding a lovely piece of decoration.
Interesting notes.
kind regards, Jean.

Hello Lucas,
It's nice to see you posting now and then.
Dark clouds often form expressive backgrounds, and that includes this photo. The yellow/green church rises quite dramatically in front of the threatening clouds, and it's elegantly framed by the tall palm trees. The staircase and the brown railing create a good foreground and provide a matching colour. The light was weak but you managed a clear and bright photo nevertheless.
Best regards,
Gert

Ola Lucas,
The church tower spearing up to the dramatic clouds aloft.
Despite the low light managed to show the beautiful mustard-yellow of the painted edifice and well framed by the brown fence railings on sides.
Bom fim de semana,

Pozdrav.
Lep pogled, opasan trenutak, interesantan tekst ...
Lepo mesto i stara arhitektura, dobro poakzano sa lepim bojama, konrastom i uhvacenim trenutkom sa oblacima koji dolaze i donose nevreme.
Lepa Crkva i fotografija.

linda foto.
abraço

Ola Lucas What a dramatic view of Sao Vicente that stands proudly in mid-picture, displaying its majesty over the badass sky! You worked out a pleasing central setup for the main subject and the outcome is fantastic.

Hello Lucas,
Well managed backlight with a wonderful warm cold colour contrast between the yellow façade & the blue grey sky. Good shadow detail and symmetrical framing. Tfs!

Hi Lucas,
The palm trees are framing well the church. The point of view is showing the details of the church. The cloudy sky is giving a good contrast to the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Lucas,
The dark thunderclouds provide a suitable background to emphasize the church, nicely flanked by a few palm trees.
The many flags make the view festive. They reminded me of the Tibetan prayer flags at first sight but the order is different here and we see also purple flags here.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Lucas,
The warm colours of the church tower stand out well from the dark clouds. I like the symmetry, enhanced by the low walls and festive flags as well. The palm trees add a nice, natural frame.

Hola Lucas.
Me gusta.
Feliz Domingo y comienzo de semana.
Saludos muy cordiales.
Luis.

Hi Lucas,
quite a charming little church with interesting colors. You have captured it in very challenging light -the clouds were so dark and light limited but the outcome is very eye catching, it feels as if after storm or just before.
I like the decoration with palm trees on both sides.
Very well done,
M

Hi Lucas
your lighting shot is wonderful, but this one caught my attention as well. I know the church is not abandoned, but it almost has that look and feel to it. It's needing a fresh coat of paint, but I like it the way it is, more charm and character this way. love the diffused lighting. cheers

Oi Lucas,
Ricardo
