Photographer's Note

This is the first shot I'm posting from a serie I decided to call "Lost in Time". Let me explain to you. There is a region at my state, at southern Brazil, who was colonized by germans at the end of the ninetinth century. For some reason, lots of them, at the middle of the last century (1950), started to abandon the region, maybe looking for a better opportunity at the metropolis near these cities, living their home towns. What's left behind is a collection of beautyfull buildings, some of them abandoned, others still holding some activity.
An interesting thing that's happening since the year of 2000, otherwise, is that they are discovering a great touristhic potential, and young people are now thinking twice before living home.
*This cathedral was the main church of a city called "Ivoti", and it's a nice place, besides the fact that only the facades are ok, and all the interior went down. I'll post more of it for the next days. Hope you like it.
