Photographer's Note
The Forte Orange was a fort built by the Dutch when they reached Brazil in the 16th century. It is located at Ilha Itamaraca, approx 1 hour north of Recife, PE. The fort today was built by the Portuguese over the ruins of the Dutch fort, but it still retains its Dutch name.
