The Moon's Valley is a National Park acknoledged by UNESCO as Mankind Patrimony in the year 2000. The real name of the Park is Ischigualasto, but is popularly known as mooon's valley due its particular rocky formations.
The geological age of the region is about 230 millons years, and you can encounter some of the older fossil remains on earth.
I was there during one of the very few days when it rains, so the clay and gravel turns in a very sticky mud. But we could travel on foot with some care with the slippings!
