Photographer's Note

For those willing to learn new things and trek in harsh places, the Sierra de las Quijadas National Park in San Luis province (Argentina) is an example. Its stratified walls of red tones brings you an unforgetable scenery, which also includes cliff, lookouts in the rocks, mountains, etc.
In the valley itself you can encounter archeological and paleontological remains. The Huarpe culture was present here, and many millons of years before them, dinosaurs. There are fosilized path and marks of sauropods and theropods, and you can get on foot to that tracks. The wheather is desertical: hot and dry, and you trek some kilometers with the guides of the park.
The national park is about 125 kilometers from San Luis city. To begin the trek I recommend bring water, good walking shoes, a light clothes.
