Hello Maria,
This is an incredible scenery, probably among the most spectacularly colored mountains in the world. I wonder what minerals are found here. The cemetery is almost as remarkable. Considering the circumstances you managed a terrific photo. But what kind of a driver was that, who didn't want to stop at an astonishing view like this?

Hi Maria,remind me a bit the seven colors hill that i seen in Mauritius island.But this is very very big,a great capture well sharpenes and made with bright colors,it's truly an incredible place,you were lucky to be there,i like this interesting post! Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

Hi Maria. Your note is a total surprise as I was sure that these were houses. I suppose they are "houses" for the dead. incredible siete colores, but I think there are more than seven. it is frustrating when the driver doesn't have empathy with a photographer/tourist and I was lucky in Iran in that respect as our guide who was also the driver was more accommodating. Well done considering the desperate attempt to capture this unique place.Regards. Klaudio.

Hola Maria, I was more fortunate, I just went with a small organized group from Santa and the guide showed us all interesting places. In fact,this is not Cerro de Siete Colores de Purmamarca, this mountain and cemetery is Paleta del Pintor de Maimara.

Hello Maria,

The dark shadow at the top adds both a superb graphic element and a nice warm color color contrast against the yellow red sections lower down, on account of its deep blue tint. Good sharpness and well framed and composed. I like the high vantage point. Tfs.

Beautiful place for a cemetery I want to be buried there with beautiful view. Those rocks are very interesting especially the colors, very unusual. Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas also have interesting colors from red to rusty thus the name. I like your pov and it has good details. Well done, tfs.

This is an amazing place and surely one of the most original cemeteries I've seen so far! The colourful mountains are simply magnificent and in a way they remind me of those in China. Great light also. Even from the bus, you managed to get a great shot!

Hello Maria,
You give us here a real sense of the scale and majesty of this amazing place, showing the incredibly rugged terrain and harsh climate. The colours of the mountains are so vivid it's almost hard to believe they're real, but look like they were painted ! The geological layers in the rock strata add interest, too. Well taken.

Hola Maria,
this is really very impressive and if I could ever return to South America I dream about combining visit to desert regions on the borders of Argentina, Chile and Bolivia. Each country has something unique in their desert regions.
Great light here as if a spotlight was illuminating the most colorful fragment of the mountain range.
The houses at the foothills allow to imagine better the scale of the place,
