Photographer's Note

I hope you have all had an enjoyable weekend, and if celebrating Easter a good holiday. I spent the long weekend up at Maroochydore again. We were fortunate enough to have very pleasant weather despite the forecast rain. This particular moment was taken at sunset yesterday while fishing in a cove on the northern side of the Maroochy River. Dad caught 4 fish, while I was unlucky. This small bay offers sensational swimming conditions, with the sandy, gradually sloping bottom; so many families were out enjoying the afternoon in this prime place. It is also a dog’s paradise with many sharing a swim with their owners.

I did not have my tripod with me so I used a inverted bait bucket for some stability. I captured the rim in the frame so that was cropped out in PP, but other than that there is not much else done to this photo. I hope you like this shot, I have quite a few more to share with you from this visit.
