Photographer's Note
...it pours, man it...no actually, it just doesn't rain.
In the middle of a drought here, those dark clouds notwithstanding. Something called Level 5 water restrictions - have a look at Google if you want to know more.
Basically, we can't even flush the toilet.
Well, not quite, but it can't be that far off - remember, if it's brown fluch it down, if it's yellow....
I took this shot from the footbridge between Southbank and QUT in Brisbane.
Just an example of what Brisbane looks like when it's not bright and sunny.
Cheers.

hi adam
i remember this afternoon! they are so few and far between. the only thing wrong here seems to be that it's quite dark. do you think a lower f/stop could have helped? it's hard because the clouds seem quite bright and everything else is dark. still a simple composition that works just fine. well done!

Hello Adam,
All of our family shower water is collected in our bath until it is full (about once a day) and is gravity fed and hosed onto our lawn which is the only green left. All of our washing machine water is sent to the same place. Water conservation is down to a strict regime in our household, we use about 100L each when the city average is 155L. It is a phase, nonetheless, and sooner or later Brisbane will be submerged in 1974 floodwaters again. That is the price for our glorious weather. A good image, I remember this tease, not a drop. A bit dark as Craig said, but it is unique and I give you my points for that. Good depth.
