Photographer's Note

The Cape Leeuwin lighthouse near Augusta is right at the point where the Indian and Southern Oceans meet and was one of the last lighthouses in the world to use manual operation of clockwork mechanism & kero burner when in 1982 it went electric.

The lighthouse is still in operation and is also used for radio navigation for ships.
