Yesterday's photo showed Homestead Creek at Fowlers Gap in outback NSW after heavy night time rain. Late morning the rain eased up and the creek subsided a little but after lunch the rain came even more heavily and the island in the middle of yesterday's photos disappeared under what water that was well over 2 metres deep. The creek went close to breaking its banks. We watched on nervously from the cottage's verandah and just ventured out for the odd photo.
Today's main photo shows the creek at its peak.
In the WS is a photo looking out the door towards along the creek.
In the late afternoon the rain eased and the sun even came out creating a pair of rainbows - see the WS for that.

Hello Ian,
This is not a typicall tourist photo, which shows us the roughness of nature. I'm buying it.
Best Wishes,
Gy.

Hello Ian, The main photo is similar to the previous one, but interesting to compare how the situation has changed. My favorite is the Workshop picture with the double rainbow. Marvelous light. I hope that no one has suffered. Water can take everything in its way.

Pozdrav.
Interesantan i opasan trenutak, dobar tekst ...
Zelim vam sve najbolje.

Hello Ian,
Notable the strong flood current, as always happened in desert area - the soil is relatively hard and earth cannot seep the abundance of water.
Captured a fine double rainbows.
Good evening,

Hi Ian
A good profiled shot of the creek with the threatening floodwaters clearly visible. Excellent sharpness and lighting. Tfs!

Hi Ian,
You have captured well the flow of the creek. The point of view is showing the details of the trees. I like your WS photo with the rainbows. Well done, have a nice day.

Hello Ian, an excellent series of pictures that I have viewed in the correct order. In this shot the water seems to be flowing quite fast, it looks quite dangerous.
I hope that your car was well away from the water and didn't get flooded.
Amazing how quickly the landscape changed; so easy to be caught out. You must have been glad of the warning.
Kind regards,
Jean

Hello Ian,
A good photo of this day with so much heavy rain. The muddy and fast flowing water is clearly captured around the trees. Well done.

Hi Ian,
It is amazing to see such a change in only one night. The creek runs wild. Dusty soil mixes with water making it all muddy. I would prefer the WS thanks to sunshine on tree tops.

Hi Ian,
Great reportage, I suppose this may complicate travel plans for someone if you get stuck and have to wait for the water to subside. nWhat if you get caught in the middle of it!
Very nice series from the real adventure,

Hi Ian,I would have chosen the photo with the rainbows for the main gallery, many do not watch the WS and have missed the show. Anyway it is really impressive to see the water level, you were a prisoner in the cottage but it is something that deep down I would have liked to try, a Covid lockdown style isolation .. hehehe .. Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Hello Ian,
Three very nice photos. I think the one with the rainbows was worthy of being the main entry. I like the way the banisters point to the scenery in the other WS photo.
