Continuing our trip home from Mudgee on back roads we passed through the small highlands town of Oberon. The road south then wandered along a high ridge giving us this good view over the local lake.
Those large boulders that you can see are granite.

Hello Ian, looking across the landscape I was surprised to see so many rocks and boulders. And it would seem that there are not any field boundaries, or are they fences that I cannot see?
It's an excellent view and with excellent sharpness.

Hello Ian,
It's nice how these boulders are found over the entire landscape.
Nice variety of grasslands and forests bisected by the river.
From a higher location you had a good view over this vast landscape.
The many dark and white clouds provide a dramatic aspect.
