The world heritage listed Wollemi National Park is a new one for TE. It is massive (5,017 km²) and much of it is inaccessible except by foot. There used to be an army training area there in a rugged part of it and when I was in the army (many years ago) we reached the training area by helicopter.
This photo was taken near the edge of the NP looking up at a well worn spur. In the WS is another photo taken nearby.

Hello Ian,
I would prefer to reach that peak by helicopter rather than trying to do it on foot. It's an attractive scenery, but rather rough, and as usual two very well taken photos.

The trees are framing well the rock formation. The point of view is showing the details of the rock formation and of the trees. The light is enhancing the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.

Prominent view of the giant rock hanging on the edge, above the thick vegetation, Ian.
I can see an imaginary "face" on the rock's right side.
