Today we had a weather warning for severe storms and large hail. I took this photo as the storm approached from the west with that deciduous tree just coming into leaf for colour contrast.
Fortunately the worst of the storm passed either side of us and the hail was only small so there was no damage to my vegetable garden or fruit trees.
The WS photo looks south towards Mt Gibraltar which borders our town.

At least you missed out on the tornado that devastated some farming communities outside Bathurst yesterday. A surprise resignation from Gladys too. Expect Dominic Perrottet will replace her. We shall see. A fantastic capture of the ominous looking storm. Tfs!

Lepo drvo i strasni oblaci, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom i uhvacenim trenutkom.

Hi Ian,
amazing spectacle happening in the sky. You were lucky to witness it especially that it didn't affect you. Such light is always nice to have, very bright well lit foreground and dark clouds in the sky.

Your photographs don't look like springtime!
But, weather is so unreliable these days.
The weather has allowed you to create a most dramatic shot. I like this best because of the effects of those ominous clouds, which appear to be swirling!

we had a storm yesterday and after it some rain. we faced a terrible drought and we have a hope these rains could to help us.
