The walk towards Australia's highest mountain, Mt Kosciuszko takes you along side the Ramshead Range. Here a small stream gurgles down from the last of the melting snow.
After the snow melts the area gets covered in wildflowers, although the highest areas like this don't get their peak until late December and into January. One flower that was out (see workshop 1) was the Granite Buttercup.
At the start of the Ramshead Range is the highest tow bar for skiers in Australia - see workshop 2.
