Photographer's Note
I was staying in the Nambucca area for work and was lucky enough to catch the beautiful Numbucca River on a misty morning.
The town of Macksville was named after Angus Mackay and Hugh MacNally, where it was originally called Macks Village. It was changed to Macksville in 1889.

I like the monochromatic tones resembling a sepia image. Good sharpness and atmosphere with ripples on the water adding texture at right. The functional bridge provides a focal point. Tfs!

Il faut se lever tôt pour prendre les plus belles photos. C'est vrai que la rivière est belle et le pont parait lui aussi très bien dans cette purée de poix. Tous les éléments sont parfaitement placés dans le cadre.

Hello Lisa,
Mist can create such mysterious and beautiful scenes. I like the softness of this photo, and the small, dark silhouettes on the water. The muted reflections and soft ripples are also very nice.

There is always magic on a misty dawn that you made the very best of what you could with wonderful warm tones using very good photographic techniques. Excellent layers disappearing into dreamy nothingness and wonderful feeling of distance afforded by glimpse of the spanning bridge. The markers' sharp in-focus are vital anchor points, drawing viewer into the moody and fuzzy world .....

What an ethereal view of the Numbucca. The mist is punctuated by the sharp silhouettes in jutting out of the river. The monochromatic nature of the photo is especially eye catching.

this is a scene that reminds me of Noel's style (another TE member who's been away now for long long periods, same with John). Noel loves to point his camera AT the sun, something in never do. But hey, the results can be great, just as we see here.
reflections, misty fog, mysterious mood and setting, funky gold colors, lots to like here. wonderful atmosphere.
