Photographer's Note
These are the Pinnacles in Nambung National Park near Cervantes. I would recommend any visit to Australia to include this unique, unforgettable place.

Hi Lisa
What an unusual sight of these geological monoliths as evidence of magic that our globe performs deep out of sight at first and then comes to light to make us wonder!!!
Indeed it's hard to believe such amazing formation is a result of natural act but how well you have photographed it...
Superb shot, Congrats and tfs.
Best wishes

Hello Lisa,
Surely this is a very peculiar landscape.
It looks like a series of monoliths in a sand desert.
The area with these pinnacles also seems to be very large.
I think this park is located far from the beaten path but the landscape certainly looks most interesting.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Lisa
Beautifully composed shot and unforced natural colour. When we lived in Oz, we were on the east coast, and never made it as far as the other side of the continent, though we did get to Cairns and Adelaide - and Fiji for that matter. So much to see, and so much missed, as tour image makes clear.

Will

Hello Lisa,
This place looks really wonderful and so special with all these many rock formations as far as the eye reaches. The very warm tones of the rocks and sand are very vivid and appealing toom, especially with the blue sky and white clouds here.

Hello Lisa,
What a very strange place. Another one of Nature's permanent sculpture gardens. The sky looks quite artistic too. In every way an amazing sight.
Kind regards,

Ciao Lisa,
Il y avait déjà un petit moment qu'on ne t'avait vue . C'est un bonheur, surtout avec une aussi belle photo d'un petit coin désertique de ton grand pays.Les structures sont belles mais c'est le ciel qui remporte la palme.
Amicalement

Ciao cara Lisa,
Oh, the pinnacle in the f/g has the features of a crabby, bad-tempered witch!.
I'm sure if you looked carefully at some of the others, faces or characters would become evident!
It's an amazing, natural place!
The limited colour palette emphasises the drama of the scene, which you have composed beautifully.
Even the wispy nature of the clouds are on your side!
Have a lovely day,
Bev :-)

Hello Lisa,
These pinnacles look like an army, and the pinnacle in the foreground seems to be the leader. :-) The sand looks like saffron, too. It's a fascinating view of a very unique landscape. I hope all is well in your corner of the world.

Hi Lisa,
I've always liked desert landscapes. And when dry sandy terrain is complemented with such weird and wonderful rock formations, the result is unforgettable. Would certainly worth for a visit, but terribly far from almost anywhere.

Indeed unique. The warm yellow-orange sand and pinacles are a nice contrast to the blue sky.

Hi Lisa
I have also been to this fantastic national park but loaded my shots under Cervantes. Anyway, a fabulous shot with striking warm cold color contrasts between the orange sand and blue sky. Tfs!

Ciso Lisa,
Yes I think that would be definitely one of my favourite places to visit in Australia. It seems to be however on the other side of Sydney which makes is so inaccessible, I mean people have to usually restrict the visit to smaller fragment of your huge country. So in the end, althouth I would like to see it very much, even if I ever get to Australia, I may need to skip it...
I love those extraordinary rock formations!
Amazing light and colors.
Simply beautiful!!

Hello, Lisa!
The strong color of the sand makes the image very attractive, and these "sentinels" give very good depth to the composition! Very nice contrast with the sky! Wonderful landscape and a perfect capture of that! Excellent job!

Hi Lisa
I don't remember exactly, but I recall you saying this area out west in Auzzie land is way way way out there. I guess you have to fly from Sydney right? It would be worth it for sure.
so in the bg i see trees? so its desert and tree landscape? along with the funny looking stones its pretty darn cool isn't it.
I wonder how it looks at night, any night shots here?
wonderful subjects and overall look. cheers
Craig
