Thought evoking and the land is clearly crying out, what a disaster due lack of water can be.........

Stark & harsh; The drought has hit hard here and there a stark reminder of the conditions in many parts of the world at present. Wonderful textures and fissures of cracked mud - the natural jigsaw puzzle and like the feeling of depth also a nice array of patterns!

A very good simple composition probably the most minimal photo, but the message comes across loud and clear with great impact. Like your train of taught, well spotted and presented. Congrats

Hello Lisa,
This could be seen as a beautiful, simple composition, but of course it is anything but beautiful. Even in Sweden, where we are supposed to have an abundance of water, some areas are getting dryer because of less rain in recent years. There may be severe rationing of water in the worst hit areas this summer. As long as many leading politicians are still denying global warming the future looks dark. We can only hope they will all wake up.

Like many of your previous posts this one also highlights worrying things that happen in Australia. The neglected environmental issues was a surprise to me when I first read about it.
The image is lovely abstract and it's sad to think the subject is the result of that neglect.

I love deserts, maybe because they are so different from everything I am used to.
Lovely pattern well spotted, well giving away the essence of the desert.

I have written an answer to your comment, shortly speaking I agree completely with your critical view on the church but nevertheless I see a lot of beauty in religious structures. Even though people are distorting the message from God or are using it to commit crimes, beautiful temples of all sorts or spectacular nature makes me somehow want to pray.
