Photographer's Note

This is the picturesque entrance to Knotting Hill Winery & vineyard, in Margaret River, a famous wine growing district about 160 km (100 miles) south of Perth in Western Australia. Taken last Autumn, & the trees are changing colour. I did a bus tour of 5 wineries, known for their Chardonnay: Knotting Hill, Woody Nook, Driftwood Estate, Saracens, & Lawrences. I was disappointed with wine from the latter, although it did have a nice rose garden, & incredible set of chandeliers made from wineglasses.

The Chardonnay & Rosé wines at Knotting Hill, were quite good & reasonably priced. Website here:

Taken from the Winery looking back towards the carpark.
