Photographer's Note

This is a picture of the city of Perth, Western Australia, just after sunset. The picture was taken facing North, from the South bank of the river Swan.

Perth was described as the "City of Lights" by astronaut John Glen way back in the 60s, when he went up in his first flight. Wouldn't you say it is true?

Instead of clear blue skies, God gave me an almost overcast sky that day. So the picture has not come out as I had hoped.

During these months, every evening there is a fresh sea-breeze. But yesterday, it was flat calm and hence very hot.

I have stitiched 5 frames together and beside saturating it and sharpening it, I have not done anything.

Maybe I'll get a better picture another day. But for the time being this one will have to do.
