Photographer's Note

Heading east from Adelaide you cross extensive wheat growing areas. All the railway towns along the way have silos for wheat storage.
In recent years in Australia silo art has become popular as a way for getting people to stop in small towns. In Karoonda it is slightly different. Yes, there are massive paintings decorating the silos, but as well they also project other works of art onto the silos at night. I don't know how many visitors see the projected works as there isn't much accommodation in the small town.
There is another view in the WS.
