Hello John.
Welcome to Trekearth. You start with a nice photo that unfortunally is way too small. It's very hard to see details. Looks a bit like a painting(?). Do always post photos as large and big as allowed (max 800pix and 200kB). Looking forward to see next photos from you.
UPDATE: Now I saw that the photo was taken 1988. Must be a scan then? By the way, do always write a note telling us what is shown in your photo.

Hi John. Nice to see you have finally posted a photo. Even in its small format I can see that it is an imposing composition. The misty, bluish tones of the more distant trees create a sense of mystery and other- worldliness. By contrast, the magnificent gum in the foreground stands like an ancient guardian to this land of wonder. An evocative piece. Regards. Klaudio.
