Hi Kendall,
Welcome to TE ! This is a nice photo with vivid colours and good light management. I also like the composition in diagonal, with the red building behind the golden one.
Interesting to know about these old mines being added to the World heritage list.
It's just a pity the photo is so small, considering we are allowed pictures of 800 pix max, and 300 KB.
Best wishes for a good ride on TE ! It's a great site for communication, international friendship and improving one's photography skills, while learning about the world.
