Photographer's Note

Another view of the famous Opera House in Sydney. A Danish architect, Jörn Utzen, won a big architect contest and was chosen to design the Opera House. But it was too expensive to build the house as big and complicated as Utzen intended. The Operahouse is therefore much smaller than it was planned to be. Utzen became very disappointed, and refused to ever visit the Opera house, I have been informed by a guide there. But his daughter came during an anniversary. Utzen is dead now. He ought to be proud over such a famous building. But when I see the opera house from the sea, I understand his disappointment. The house looks half!
