Photographer's Note
It seemed that this man was defying the ocean, he was still and motionless, heedless of the wind and the splashes of the waves. It seemed that the sea would take him to bring with it. The man moved slowly, kingly and elegantly, almost wanting to talk to the sea. He was a practising of Yoga, which was connected with the energies and the elements of the nature.
Sembrava che questo uomo volesse sfidare l'oceano, egli era fermo e immobile, noncurante del vento e degli spruzzi delle onde. Sembrava che il mare volesse prenderlo per portarlo con se. L'uomo si mosse lentamente, con dolcezza ed eleganza, quasi a volere parlare con il mare. Era un praticante di Yoga che si era connesso con le energie e gli elementi della natura.

Very nice captured with perfect timing the waves pounded by a crazy set of rocks and waves on the rocks who fearlessly standing model, created a very nice composition. I like texture of the rock and water ponds on the rock.

hi paolo,
this is a superb picture with the wave crashing over the rocks in a very dramatic fashion. the clours of the sea and sky are wonderful and a great contrast against the browns of the rocks. there is a fantastic level of detail in the rocks, and the puddles of seawter captured in the rocks adds further interest. the inclusion of the figure adds context and some drama with the huge waves do close.

Si,si,poi arriva l'ondata forte che se lo trascina in mare,e tutti devono rompersi i c.... per andare a ripescarlo..ehehehe....altro che yoga...ehehhe...scherzi a parte,la foto e' davvero straordinaria,sia per tempismo,sia per elaborazione,l'onda sembra una pennellata di bianco sfumato,che dettagli e che colori,non lo dico per amicizia ( lo sai che non mi tiro indietro quando c'e' da criticare) ma e' uno scatto strepitoso!! Practice Yoga on such a place... well this is strange, Paolo, I knew untill now Yoga require silent and tranquility - but the powerful waves do not offer such...
Timing of the sutter was perfec, just when the wave hit. The clearity, contrast and light were marvelous.

Un vero spettacolo della natura.
A me però un'onda mi ha preso in pieno, mandando in tilt la mia fotocamera per alcune ore.

una foto affascinante che ha catturato un momento molto particolre ed intrigante, quando l'uomo si avvicina alla forza della natura con calma e coraggio. Meravigliosa la cima della onda che domina il quadro drammaticamente senza spaventare l'uomo. Stupenda composizione che d`a molto spazio sia alla roccia che al mare ed il cielo e lascia l'uomo solo ad affrontare gli elementi. Il Mio Caro Generale Monellone
Che una bella sorpresa di vedere la mia terra qui su TE preso da un caro amico da lontano. La qualita' ed il momento sono uno spettacolo. Come tu ben sai, adoro la tessitura delle roccie, e qui, non potrei trovare un essempio migliore. Hai catturato bene il forte contrasto tra l'oceano selvaggio ed il comportamento tranquillo di questo yogi. La ciliegina sulla torta (almeno per me) e' i riflessi luminosi nelle roccie sono come opali. Proprio bella la tua foto, e' un bel ricordo del nostro tempo assieme. Ho una bella foto di te qui in azione. Me lo postarei, ma non voglio intromettersi il tuo privacy. Che ne pensi?

Une photo magnifiquement bien captée et juste au bon moment. Bien vu d'avoir inclus le personnage devant la magnifique vague. L'éclairage est au max malgré un ciel nuageux et Les couleurs sont splendides. Une photo que j'aime beaucoup.

appena aperta l'immagine ho pensato che lo yogi fosse Santo....ehehe
che tempismo e che colori, il mare ha tutte le tonalità dal verde smeraldo al blu cobalto e l'onda è un vero capolavoro...secondo me già osservare il mare e sentirne il suono un pò ipnotico è già una forma di yoga...bellissimo scatto con una ottima inquadratura e una perfetta esposizione....

This is either very brave or foolish. People on land or on the shore gets killed by the waves hitting them and carrying out to the ocean. Nice capture though. Good lighting and good dof with nice details. Wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.

Bellissima, e non so come ed il perchè mi sia sfuggita, sarà l'età ormai avanzata!
Davvero splendida l'immagine di quest'uomo al cospetto della forza del mare, sembra quasi sfidarlo o catechizzarlo, hai colto il momento con la consueta bravura e capacità di anticipare gli eventi. Ps: ho conosciuto una bella persona, avevi ragione tu!
