A few days ago I woke to this sunrise. The main photo looks east into the sunrise over 2 old stone houses across from my house.
The workshop photo looks to the south a few minutes later where there was also great colour, although it is a little noisy.

Isn't it often the case that you set up for a sunset at some exotic overseas location, and you get a far better sunset right in your own backyard! Good sharpness and warm cold colour contrasts between the blue and orange. Tfs!

Superb colours in the WS too, but these houses are more interesting. You managed a very good exposure of the entire view, the sky as well as the ground.

Hello Ian,
I remember you telling me that you often had amazing skies, when I was happy to post a sky from a holiday shot, saying such skies rarely happened at home!!
This really is a cracker.
The fiery red looks like molten lava, with purple smoke swirling round!
The houses are useful, giving the sky a pleasing setting!
Your w/s is good, too, but these colours are just more exciting!
