Photographer's Note

Last weekend we (Mrs.Wall et moi) went to stay with friends in a little town called Burrawang in the Southern Highlands, about 160 Kms south of Sydney. Burrawang has a pub, a General store, a butcher shop and that’s about it. What else do you need?? Well, two pubs would be good.

However, scattered throughout the surrounding countryside there are wonderful little cottages just like this one, they are used as hobby farms, weekend retreats and of course home for the locals.
This particular property is typical of the area. The gardens are immaculate, the house is in excellent condition and if you have a spare one million or more dollars you could be the proud owner.

The light was quite flat when I shot this, I can only imagine how much prettier the whole scene would have been in full sun, but you take em when you get em I say.

Apologies to my friend Ian Fegent (ifege) for invading his territory without written consent. I know, I’ll expect the usual flogging when next we catch up.

Hope you like the shot.
