Photographer's Note
Please open in anew tab.rnYesterday I posted a photo of the Bethungra Pub. Not surprisingly no-one else on TE had ever heard of it. These days it isn't classified as a town or even a village. It is just called a locality. The population is just 164.rnNo wonder that the old store and residence in my photo today has been closed for many years and is starting to collapse.rnNext door is what appears to be an old community hall but the writing above the door is illegible.

Hi Ian,a sad memory of what remains of the old shop of this "locality", so only the old B&B remains, beautiful capture of this symbol of lost past taken in the usual perfect way. Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Hello Ian,
This is so different from the building that you posted yesterday! There is no sign of well painted exteriors or fine balconies and verandas, just everyday buildings, slowly succumbing to neglect and the effects of the weather.
Again, a fine sharp exposure, with the telegraph pole strongly positioned in your composition.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Ian,
Nobody bothered to invest in a restoration of these buildings. Originally they must have looked quite good. You made this document before the final collapse started and it's a razor sharp photo.

Gert

Hi Ian,
The point of view is showing the details of the old shop and of the clouds. The light is enhancing the colors. The sharpness is very good. Have a nice day.

Hello Ian, it is a pity that buildings such as these are left empty and so become derelict, but they give people like you many good photo opportunities.
Taken for an archive? This will be a good reminder in years to come.
Excellent sharp quality.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hello Ian,
A very nice photo of this old wooden barn and house. You captured them very well in a tight composition and the warm yellow colour of the walls looks pleasant in this soft sunlight, filtered by the layer of clouds.

Hi Ian
Nice capture of the old age abandoned buildings which is a very good source of inspiration for photography. It is like we are peering into someone else's world and sense of intrigue is irresistible. Love the clarity and detailing that do it for me. Well done
Best regards

Hello Ian,
Excellent clear and sharp photo of the store and residence.
Beautiful clouds in the sky. They give the photo some drama.
Best regards, Paul
