Photographer's Note
Just a weathered wooden deck by the waterfront in Ketchikan. I liked the grain and tone of the wood, the symmetry of the design and the abstract lines. It was another rainy day in a place that gets 13' a year. The tourist industry calls it "liquid sunshine".

Good photo of a simple scene. I like the mood in this photo, as well as the focus on the bench in the forefront. The sharpness is good on the bench. I think it would have been nice if you had added a bit of the deck above the bench (unfocused) instead of cutting it flush with the top, that way it would stand out more.

Wow!
It's very simple. But there is a sadly mood. I like cpmposition. Good geometric drawing and good quality of details (textures of tree).
It is very nice picture.

love this shot, the textures, pale colours and repetitive and therefore somewhat monotonous lines nicely illustrate your stody of a "just another rainy day". moody shot.

Hello Kai,
i love picture of decks...and i think you give us a great and special picture!I find a mathematical and geometry interest in your picture.The colour of the wet wood creates a melagholic atmosphere...
Such a special picture...i also find interesting the phrase :"liquid sunshine" ...
