North Fork Spring
I Hear the Water Dreaming - Toru Takemitsu
North Fork of the Big Thompson River near Glen Haven, Colorado
Spring comes late to the Rocky Mountains .. one of my favorite parts of Spring in the Mountains is to catch the rivers and streams swollen with snow melt.

Hi John.
It works great this composition! A very good idea to capture it with this way.The water looks silky, you captured it with nice lightness too.
Cheers

The motion effect gives the idea that the water was running quite fast. The overall picture looks a bit dark but the light on the water is very good. I like it, anyway.

hello john
bel effet de filé obtenu avec un temps de pose élevé nécessitant bien entendu l'utilsation de filtres obscurcissants, chose que tu as bien comprise.
Best regards.
Daniel.

hello john,
The picture is nice and the long time exposure good. But I think it's a little too dark, specially in the background area, in trees part. In the opposite, the stones on right sied of river have a great light on them.
Best regards and have a nice Sunday.

Hi John,
Very soft & silky water ... almost appearing like a dream. Oh the water is dreaming as Takemitsu says. Regards. Latiff.

Another good work on a long exposure along a river/stream, with the ND filter. What I like in this one is..the lines in the water..the white lines caused by..well the riverbedding I think it's called?! The long exposure gives a nice speedy effect on this stream and the known silky appearance. Well done, I gotta try this too sometime.
Just gotta find running water..gosh..that's hard in Holland or Greece hehe :)

Hi John,
Excellent slow exposure image of this spring time flood waters reaching to just below the lovely old wooden bridge. Nice contrast between the green budding trees and the milky grey water.
