Photographer's Note
The strikingly beautiful Walt Disney Concert Hall is the home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
It is also a key element in an urban revitalization effort in underway Downtown of LA.
The Walt Disney family insisted on the best and, with an initial gift of $50 million to build a world-class performance venue, that's what they got: A masterpiece of design by world-renown architect Frank Gehry, and an acoustical quality that equals or surpasses the best concert halls in the world. Similar to Gehry's most famous architectural masterpiece, the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, the concert hall's dramatic stainless-steel exterior consists of a series of undulating curved surfaces that partially envelop the entire building, presenting multiple glimmering facades to the surrounding neighborhood. Within is a dazzling 2,273-seat auditorium replete with curved woods and a dazzling array of organ pipes (also designed by Gehry), as well as a Joachim Splichal's Patina restaurant, the hip Concert Hall Cafe, a bookstore, and a gift shop.

A beautiful building and very original. The sun spots on the facade create a very nice effect and contrast. The fine lines of the building and the nice saturation of colours make up a very pleasant image. Thanks Gilad.

what an interesting architecture!
And it is really good composition with lack of colors, even lens effect goes well.

thank you for uploading photo of such amazing piece of architecture. all settings on this pic are good, even the fact that only silver & black cars appeared in a scene :)
I'm just wondering, could you not cut that left edge of a structure? It looks to me like small part of a building is cut out, although composition is still superb.

I really like how the building and the shadow/highlights on its bent facade play with the clouds above. It makes for a very dynamic picture. The rows of car give an idea of size and also feel like an integral part of the composition, not just incidental obstacles, I think the image would be less intriguing without them. I also like how you darkened certain areas to keep a viewers eye away from the obvious wide-angle distortions.

A beautiful capture of a strong architecture...
The wide angle effect works well here.

Looks like it will come to life as a "Transformer" and eat the cars. Excellent composotion that reveals the power of the architecture.

Wow, the shadows on the walls are great. Naturally, the sky had to cooperate, too. And the cars - black and white, as if they were park there especialy for your pic ;-)The effect is bit unreal, like from another world, even more unreal if you spot this tiny human figure - wide angle, it seems.
Very good shot.
Best regards
Joanna
