Winter River:

Big Thompson River - just South of Greeley, Colorado.

The Front Range (the cities and towns sitting at the foot of the Rockies stretching North of Denver to Fort Collins) is gradually growing together into a horrid megalopolis. People seem to love the convenience of the urban life and being able to jet up into the mountains .. there are fewer and fewer quiet places left down on these plains ... The Big Thompson river valley is the route I follow up to the National Park .. once it reaches the plains it flows into the Platte river ...

This image is from a quiet little bridge on a gravel road just South of town. I always wonder what the farmer who lives next to the bridge thinks of weird guy who stops on his bridge all the time ..
