Photographer's Note
During my trip to Seattle three years ago I went to the Lavander festival in Sequim, and I also visited some farms where lavaders are cultivated, like this one in the picture.
From Wikipedia:
"Sequim is a city in Clallam County, Washington, United States. The population was 4,334 at the 2000 census. It is located along the Dungeness River near the base of the Olympic Mountains. The city has been increasing in population dramatically in recent years and has become a magnet for retirees, losing its rural character. The city and the surrounding area are particularly known for their production of lavender."

Hi Livia,
A nice view of these lavander fields, of a different color than the one we have in france, slightly purple... Great colors anyway and good sharpness, nice graphism created by the rows of flowers..

Colors! I love them. Looks to be slightly overexposed. The detail on the truck washed out and the sky is a bit pale. You should try bracketing in bright sun like this. Perhaps shoot two more shots at -0.3 and -0.7 or -0.7 and -1.3.

Ma allora sto computer funziona o no? Sembrerebbe di sì, oppure sei andata dal vicino perchè non ce la facevi a stare senza TE. In ogni caso una gran bella foto con colori saturi e molto belli. Il pick-up in mezzo al campo di lavanda mi piace molto.

Noto che ho inserito la foto nel tema della lavanda ma non l'ho criticata... rimedio subito.
Oltre al bel colore della lavanda mi piaccione le linee create dal campo e la bella scena rurale sullo sfondo, il pick-up e la tettoia al centro ci stanno molto bene, complimenti.

allora non esiste solo la Provenza (in cui comunque devo ancora andare)! Il colore del cielo e l'azzurro della lavanda ...stonano... come se stavolta la natura avesse sbagliato. Molto strana la foto, ma attraente. Dario

Hi Livia! Nice colors and good composition! VERY beautiful blue field, I haven't seen anything like that! Nice inclusion of house & trees and nice clouds. Clouds seem to be moving up, while the field is descending. This divergence in front is like opening of the scene. Cheers - Vilius
