Photographer's Note
Last of this Redwood series.
As we climb and scamble through the forest to see the amazing Redwood groves, there were many people also appreciating the beauty of these giants.
This particular moment appealed to me because of the scale of human and the silent witness of nature around us.
I am sure I'll be visiting this place again and be amazed all over. Hope you enjoyed this series as I did.
Have a great weekend.

A photo resized but not so cut to scale, Pranab! the tallness of these trees is well conveyed in all its grandeur, not only because of the diminutive size of the photographer, but also because they could simply not be contained in the frame, which in no way impairs their majesty, and rather implies it.

Hi Pranab. The inclusion of the other photographer provides much needed scale to this shot and helps to convey the massive size of these magnificent trees. Good exposure and perfect sharpness. Cheers . . . David

G'day Pranab! I like this demonstration of height and girth, with the human there to compare. There's a nice light glancing off the tree on the right, and the view of the other huge trees in the background is awesome. Well done.

Andrew

Good inclusion of the photographer to add scale & context to these magnificent Redwood trees. I also like the symmetry & the verticsl format was a logical choice. Tfs!

Like the series of shots very much. I like the way you have captured the ridges in the tree trucks and the overall patterns. The trees are awesome and hopefully will be around for generations to come. Nice shot and nice pov.

Hi Pranab Da,
These Redwood trees are mighty impressive. Including that photographer gives a good idea of scale both in terms of the height as well as the girth of the trees.

I was amazed as well when I walked along this trail Pranab. I felt so tiny when i was there and another beauty is these trees are older than Jesus. It had seen many legends and war. IMagine we walked on the same trail where John Muir walked once!
I agree it is hard to bring these giants into our camera frame. And by adding a person it is easy to estimate the size in your picture.

Bonjour Pranab,
The inclusion of that photographer is in here good because it gives a sense of scale of these majestics trees. The texture of the bark is also great.
All the best,
