Photographer's Note

Having gorwn up by the ocean I am dran to it, specially when the sea is rough and showing its power. The sea is a beautiful entity that gives so much to humanity and so often takes so much. So often those who make their livelihood from the sea loose their lives to it. The sea so powerful andmagnificent can be a source of terror and tragedy to so many.
This week the San Francisco bay area has been the recipient of massive rain and all around bead weather.

Taken at sunset on the shore near the Pacifica Pier. Pacifica is a little town just south of San Francisco, it's a small community with roughly 26000 habitants and the atmosphere is very laid back and relaxed, the views are stunning and the real estate prices are climbing skyward daily.

Cropped and contrast adjustment, with some neat image work, resized and sharpened incrementally. Tried the Exposure adjustment in Photoshop CS2. It's a little shaky but it was so windy that even stablized the camera shook slightly.
