Photographer's Note

"He gives his harness bells a shake,
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep,
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep."

This is a photograph of neighbors serenading an elderly friend in a small Midwest town in the United States. It shows the closeness and caring of a community so typical in rural America.
Thanks to all for browsing and seeing the world through my lens. I hope these photographs, however mundane, enriches your experience of the human condition.

Joy and peace to all on this holiday season. More images coming in 2004!
