Photographer's Note

One of the joys of living in the San Francisco Bay Area is the amount of museums, galleries and natural wonders that are all within driving distance. When people are visiting I love to show off our beautiful bay area, my second home.
The Monterey Bay Aquarium
is a beautiful place as it combines nature and art in some of its displays and the results are stunning. Normally I don’t like to see animals in captivity but this is such a beautiful place that I believe the animals there have to feel a little privileged to be there. My favorite exhibit is the Jellies: Living Art.
. There are many displays of these ethereal beings and through the area beautiful music plays. As my visiting relative wondered through the aquarium I took a little break just enjoying these gorgeous graceful creatures.

I wish the image could have been sharper but the tripod was in the car (it seldom leaves the back seat). I braced myself against a column and took a held my breath and hoped for something usable.

I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO LOOK AT THE WEBSITE AS THEY HAVE WEB CAMS OF THE ANIMALS AND DIFFERENT AREAS (the penguins are awesome too)

Slightly sharpened and color adjusted. Decreased in size incrementally.
