Photographer's Note
I love father and child photographs. This one was taken at The Cloisters in New York City, a museum devoted to medieval art and architecture located far north in Manhattan. It's an oasis amid the hustle and bustle of New York City.
I find taking photographs of people I don't know very difficult. I had to do this one surreptitiously - took a picture of a friend (since cropped - he was on the left) but focused on the subjects of interest.

Such wonderful lighting, composition and framing. The architecture, brought out by the lighting, leads my eye to the back of the photo, but then I notice the father and child in the foreground, and I get another special treat!

Such a subject is always interesting, father and son, and this one was taken in a very nice environment. Unfortunately the main subject is too dark and I would so want to see more details of this father and child

Nice photo... I like a lot the Roman art and I recently visited some cloisters in the south of France... At Sint Michel de Cuxa half of the pillars are 'missing' bacause they were sold at the beguinning of the 19 hundreds to Some collectors... The pillars landed in you guess where?: New York!!!! So for me this picture tells me much more... I'm happy to be able to see them now and hope to see them when visiting New York... I will post a picture of the cloister I'm talking about one of these days...
