Photographer's Note

I was pleasantly surprised to see grape vines at Cache Creek Ranch. I know California grows lots of grapes, but I did not expect to find any in the Pacific Northwest (PNW).

Grape vines are abundant in the part of the world where I grew up. As Costantino or Paja would attest, they even make these vines climb on pergolas and people sit in the shade of grape vines. Oh, seeing this made me homesick!
