Photographer's Note
This is one of many Pictographs taken from the cliffs surrounding the Dalles Dam along the Columbia River, or known in Chinook as En che Wauna. This drawing I feel depicts a Bad Spirit as noted in the title of this image in Chinookan language. Many of these beautiful drawings as well as sculptures on rock have been placed at the Horsethief Lake State Park on Washington Hwy.14 across from The Dalles Dam and The Dalles, Oregon. There is a $10.00 fee for all day parking at many of Washington State's Campgrounds and Parks, this one included.
